Paul McCartney Pulls Out of Japanese Tour Due to Virus
At 71 years old, he still rocks out like he did on the “Ed Sullivan Show” back in 1964, but even the mighty Sir Paul McCartney needs a respite from time to time.
The former Beatle has called off all of his upcoming shows in Japan after falling ill with a virus that has rendered him unable to perform.
And Paul had better rest up as he has a gig in Seoul, South Korea on May 28th followed by 19 shows in the USA this summer.
Mr. McCartney released a statement of regret, noting, “I’d like to thank my Japanese fans for their love, messages of support and understanding. I hope to see you all again soon. Love, Paul.”
