"The Other Woman" Scores Big at the Box Office

Women are ruling the box office, as the romantic comedy "The Other Woman" is looking to nab top honors with movie-goers for the weekend of April 25-28.

Boasting a cast that includes Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, the new release grabbed $9.6 million on Friday, and is expected to finish the weekend with a take of $24.7 million.

After spending the last three weeks on top, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" slid into second place.The superhero sequel headlined by Chris Evans and the stunning Scarlett Johansson garnered a $4.4 million Friday and is on track for a $16.7 million three day total.

Rounding out the top five in earmarked earnings are the drama "Heaven is for Real" ($13.9 million) in third, the animated family flick "Rio 2" ($12.7 million) in fourth, and the crime drama "Brick Mansions," starring the late Paul Walker, in fifth with $9.4 million.
