She received flak for her visibly disappointed reaction to an "unfair score" during last week's Sochi Olympics ice skating competition, and it appears Ashley Wagner learned a lesson.

After finishing her routine to Pink Floyd's "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" in the short program, the 22-year-old skater put on a smile as she joined her coaches on the bench to hear the score.

Upon receiving the score of 65.21 putting her in sixth place behind teammate Gracie Gold, the cameras captured Ashley refusing to frown but rather simply shrugging and giving two thumbs up/

Last week, Miss Wagner revealed to Us Weekly that she is not one to hide her feelings. "I'm a strong-headed person, and you can always tell how I'm feeling in that moment."

"I feel like I'm in a bit of a bubble here. So I haven't really seen any of it," Ashley explained about not seeing the criticism over last week's infamous expression. "But a couple of my friends have said I've been made into a meme, which is probably the coolest thing that's ever happened to me."
