With her upcoming film "Rush" set to hit theaters September 27th, Olivia Wilde pitched in on promotions by covering the September 2013 issue of Fashionmagazine.

While donning designer duds from Gucca and Emanuel Ugaro for the Gabor Jurina-shot spread, the "Alpha Dog" beauty opened up about her philanthropy projects and reveals what she has learned from her fiance Jason Sudeikis.

Check out a few highlights from Miss Wilde's interview below. For more, be sure to visit Fashion!

On teaming up with Yoana Baraschi and Anthropologie:
“I really wanted to find a creative alternate way of fundraising. With Anthropologie, I’ve partnered [my organization] Conscious Commerce with Yoana and we have designed this really adorable dress that we’ll launch in the fall, which will raise money for a girls’ school in Calcutta called New Light. It is also an orphanage that saves young women from entering the commercial sex trade—which is a huge problem in the red light district of Calcutta.”

On Jason's acting tricks:
“His skill level is so high. I really have learned a lot from him, especially when it comes to being bold and taking risks as an actor within a role. Comedians are so great about trying things, like doing seven takes in seven different ways and really not being afraid to stumble.”

On "Rush":
“It is based on a true story. I play Suzy Miller—who was James Hunt’s first wife. Suzy ended up leaving [James] for Richard Burton—who left Elizabeth Taylor for Suzy. My job in the film was to tell the story of James’s tumultuous marriage, which was very Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? messy… I got to wear archive Gucci head to toe through the movie!”
