He’s been battling the legal system for well over a decade, and just last night, O.J. Simpson was sent to jail for violating the terms of his bail.

Reportedly the former football stud attempted to contact his co-defendant in his Las Vegas armed robbery case. Simpson allegedly tried to send a message via his bail bondsman Miguel Pereira to Clarence Stewart regarding a plea deal in the case.

You’d think that with his checkered legal past, O.J. Simpson would be laying low. But soon after the release of his controversial book “If I Did It” the former football star was arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery charge.

The “Juice” was ordered to be held without bail after he was taken into custody and charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary with a firearm. Simpson was staying in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas at the time of the arrest.
