Noah Wyle Arrested for Political Protest

Familiar face Noah Wyle was one of the more than 100 members of the group ADAPT arrested today (April 23) for protesting on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

The group was trying to convince Congress not to cut Medicaid, as they believe cuts in the system would force many elderly people and those with disabilities into nursing homes - not providing them the opportunity to receive treatment in their own homes.

The former “ER” star joined the protesters, many in wheelchairs, as they were handcuffed in the Cannon House Office Building.

His former co-star, George Clooney, was arrested just one month ago for protesting in D.C. outside of the Sudanese embassy.
