Nicole Richie Scores Eight-Episode “#CandidlyNicole” Deal with VH1
Her father may be one of the most popular balladeers of the 20th century, but Nicole Richie isn’t relying on Papa Lionel’s fortune to put food on the table.
The “Simple Life” starlet did so well with her “#CandidlyNicole” web series that VH1 has taken notice and offered her an eight-episode contract.
According to a report, the new season will debut on July 17th, and she’s also inked a deal to develop content through her Honey Child Productions.
VH1 executive vice president Susan Levison gushed, “Nicole’s sharp, acerbic sense of humor and broad audience appeal make #CandidlyNicole a perfect fit for the VH1 brand.”
“Viewers will enjoy her unique point of view and earnest look at pop culture as well as her fearless exploration of anything and everything taboo.”
Furthermore, the new show will “detail her daily adventures and give insight into her decisions on style, relationships, her work life and her journey to adulthood.”
