Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: 2010 Academy Awards

Stepping out for a night on the red carpet, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden turned up at the 82nd annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 7).

Taking place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the former “Simple Life” star and her Good Charlotte rocker beau strolled inside so that Joel could tend to his deejay duties.

Sure to be quite the extravagant affair, the 2010 Oscars are set to be hosted by Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

Meanwhile, the evening will see the biggest names in show business taking turns as presenters, with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet and Zac Efron, among many others.
