One Direction Scores Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Nods

It’s an entertainment industry highlight each year, and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards just unveiled their 2013 nominees.

And it turns out One Direction made the cut for the Favorite Musical Group category along with Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi and Maroon 5.

As for the Favorite Song choices, Carly Rae Jepsen's “Call Me Maybe” will compete against “Gagnam Style” by Psy, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” by Taylor Swift, and “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction.

1D hunk Harry Styles told press, "We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards. It was amazing to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful' at last year’s show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!"

The 26th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is slated for March 23rd with Josh Duhamel manning the hosting duties.
