Black Eyed Peas Rock the 2011 Kids' Choice Awards
Marking their first appearance at the annual event, the Black Eyed Peas took the stage at Nickelodeon's 24th Annual Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday evening (April 2).
With Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson joined by bandmates will.i.am, Taboo and apl.de.ap, the quartet brought the Galen Center crowd to its feet while delving into their hit song "The Time (Dirty Bit)".
Talking about the gig prior to the show, Fergie told press, "We've always been on tour every year. My mom would call me and say, 'You know you're nominated for Kids' Choice Awards.' I would watch the show on the Internet, and it would make me sad that we couldn't be there. This is a special moment for us to be able to come to this particular award show and rock it."
The group also finds themselves nominated for one of the fan-favorite ceremony's blimp-shaped trophies in the favorite music group category.
