“New Moon” Conquers the Midnight Box Office

Coming as little surprise, “New Moon” is already placing itself into the record book – as it was tops for a midnight run raking in an estimated $26.3 million.

Along with the overwhelming success of “New Moon,” theaters got fans ready by re-releasing “Twilight” just prior to the follow-ups debut – which garnered another $1.3 million.

"New Moon" Screening in NYC Brings Out the Stars

Making one last group appearance before their movie takes over cinemas at the stroke of midnight, the stars of the "Twilight Saga: New Moon" gathered together at Landmark's Sunshine Cinema in New York City on Thursday night (November 19).

With Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner all on hand, the "Twilight" trio put on their best smiles for The Cinema Society and D&G screening of their upcoming vampire movie - although they all must be absolutely drained from their month-long press blitz.
