“Hairspray” Live Coming to NBC

Continuing the newfound tradition of live adaptations, the NBC Network has announced a forthcoming production of “Hairspray,” slated to air during the Winter 2016 season.

On Wednesday (January 13) head honcho Robert Greenblatt told the Television Critics Association, “I’m happy to say that we are hopefully going to be produce a live new movie of Hairspray next December.”
