Paying final respects to their late loved one, thousands of mourners turned up for the funeral of Nate Dogg (Nathaniel Dwayne Hale) in Long Beach, CA on Saturday (March 26).

With the proceedings taking place at Queen Mary Dome, attendees saying their goodbyes to the rap star included fellow hip-hop hitmakers such as Snoop Dogg, Warren G and The Game.

His funeral is set for tomorrow, but today (March 25), the late Nate Dogg was honored in his hometown of Long Beach, California.

The “Regulate” rapper’s life was recognized at a public viewing held at the Queen Mary hotel with family and close friends, in addition to a large number of his fans.

He died last week unexpectedly, and Nate Dogg will be laid to rest this Saturday (March 26) with a ceremony preceding the event at the Long Beach Airport.

The “Regulate” singer will also be honored by a memorial benefit concert at the Los Angeles Convention Center hosted by DJ Quik.

Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Hale Passes Away at 41

He hit the big time when his song “Regulate” blew up back in the 1990s, and sadly Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Hale passed away yesterday (March 15).

The hip-hop great had suffered two strokes in 2007 and 2008, though his cause of death still has not been released.
