Justin, Demi, Selena & One Direction Score Spots on Billboard 21 Under 21 List
They’re some of the most powerful names in the entertainment business, and Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and One Direction are all included on the Billboard 21 Under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2012 chart.
It’s not hard to Believe that the “Never Say Never” stud nabbed the #1 spot, thanks to his #1 album and multiple sold-out tours.
Justin told press, "I was very involved in the process [of making this album] — I played instruments, produced, wrote — so I want people to know it's not all hype. I want people to know I've been working hard on my music. Focus on the music. Don't think I'm just this product pushed out there. I work hard, and music is really important to me."
Coming in at #2 are five lads from across the pond called One Direction. They’ll released their second album Take Me Home this fall and will hit cities all over the globe on the subsequent tour.
Miss Lovato landed at #3, and between her music and her judging job on “The X Factor,” she shows no signs of slowing down.
Demi noted, "The reception for my single [“Give Your Heart a Break”] is so amazing. It's been going up the charts for a while now and right now I actually have my first #1 single, so that's really exciting for me. It means so much to me. I never thought I'd be blessed enough to have this opportunity and here I am."
Rounding out the top ten are Scotty McCreery, Mac Miller, Selena Gomez, Porter Robinson, Cher Lloyd, Earl Sweatshirt, and Nick Jonas.
