It’s going to be a great week for fans of Dr. Dre, as his new record Compton: A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre will hit stores on Friday, August 7th.

The new record is said to be sparked by the forthcoming premiere of “Straight Outta Compton,” a biopic regarding the rise of Dre’s old hip hop group NWA.

Having been dropped from Simon Cowell’s Syco Management firm, Zayn Malik decided it was time for a new manager and a fresh start at a new record label.

On Wednesday (July 29) the former One Direction crooner inked a deal with RCA Records, the same label as Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and Shakira, and he made sure to post a photo of the moment via Twitter.
