United Kingdom Granted Wide Release of "The Interview"

After plenty of controversy in the United States, Sony decided to get the ball rolling and set a wide release for "The Interview" in the United Kingdom. Earlier today (January 7), the Seth Rogen/ James Franco flick is slated to hit theaters in Great Britain and Ireland on February 6.

Channing Tatum Announces “Gambit” Release Date!

He’s always up for a challenge, and Channing Tatum can’t wait for his fans to see him in a bona fide “X-Men” project. The “22 Jump Street” hunk took to his Facebook page on Monday (January 5) to tell the world that he’ll soon suit up as the card-throwing Gambit.

Channing wrote, “How do you say October 7, 2016 in Cajun?” referencing Gambit’s origins in New Orleans, following the May 2014 announcement by “X-Men” producer Lauren Shuler Donner.

In Hollywood, it’s just as important to say “yes” to the right films as it is to say “no” to the wrong ones, and Benedict Cumberbatch is confident in his decision to star in “Doctor Strange.”

In a new interview, the “Imitation Game” guy explains that he’s not worried about making the wrong call on a bad flick. Benedict explains, “I don’t think it’s a risk because of Marvel. Marvel is a stable of bringing out ordinary comic characters and turning them into screen-like gods.”
