"Thor" Beats "Bridesmaids" to Continue Box Office Reign

It stormed into theaters to the tune of $65 million on opening weekend, and "Thor" continues to roll as the warrior flick has once again nabbed the top spot at the box office.

The Chris Hemsworth starring 3D action movie churned out a solid $34 million from May 13-15th - pushing the cumulative total up to an impressive $115 million.

Landing in the second slot is the just-released Paul Feig directed comedy "Bridesmaids," as the Kristen Wiig led wedding-based film wound up landing $24.5 million during its debut weekend in theaters.

Rounding out the top five at the box office are Vin Diesel's blockbuster action picture "Fast Five" ($20.2 million), followed by "Priest 3D" ($15.5 million) and "Rio" ($8 million).
