Beating out all of its Bond predecessors, "Skyfall" easily emerged victorious at the box office for the weekend of November 9-11, 2012.

Quadrupling its closest competitor, the Daniel Craig fronted "007" production roared out with an estimated $33.0 million first day in theaters while en route to a projected opening weekend take of $88.0 million.

Dropping into runner-up status after being crowned king of the movie world one week ago, the animated tale "Wreck-It Ralph" sits in second while banking another $7.8 million on Friday with second weekend earnings pegged at a respectable $30 million.

Filling out the top five at the box office in earmarked earnings are the Denzel Washington fronted drama "Flight" ($13.0 million) in third, followed by the Ben Affleck spearheaded drama "Argo" ($6.0 million) in fourth and Russell Crowe's latest big screen effort "The Man With the Iron Fists" ($3.9 million) in fifth.
