Miranda Kerr Keeps Up Appearances Amidst Family Struggle
She always seems to have a sunny disposition, and Miranda Kerr didn’t seem too distraught over her parents’ embarrassing interview on ABC1 this past week.
On Thursday (February 13) the Australian stunner posted a selfie to Instagram along with a teacup and a message promoting her new business venture.
Kerr wrote, “So excited about the new collection I designed for #royalalbert. [It] Will be released soon in the UK, US, Japan, Thailand and Australia.”
Meanwhile, Miranda’s mom Therese and dad John told ABC1 that Ms. Kerr hasn’t kept up her end of the communication chain with her family and they miss her as well as 3-year-old Flynn.
John lamented, “What I'd like to do as a grandfather would be to teach Flynn how to milk a cow, ride a horse, those country things.”
Miranda’s grandmother Ann also chimed in, “I miss the baby and I think he's missing out on family, that closeness that we have always had. It's very nice where they are but nothing like Australia, nothing, and I think hopefully Flynn might end up here. We just keep our fingers crossed.”
However, an insider told Daily Mail, “Miranda is totally committed to her family and in regular contact, she recently flew out her cousins to so they could spend Christmas together. Miranda directly employs her dad, brother, aunt and uncle. Her career was never going to keep her in Australia, to flourish she had to venture overseas, like many aspiring Australian models do. Miranda's connection to Australia is incredibly important to her and the documentary is not representative of her life. She does a remarkable job balancing an incredibly successful career with being a loving and dedicated mother.”
