Seeming as if there's no end in sight, more racy photos of 15-year-old Disney star Miley Cyrus have made their way onto the Web.
In the most recent photo release, the "Hannah Montana" starlet is seen wearing a blue shirt pulled up to reveal her stomach, along with a pair of white underwear. She also posed in a blue and white polka dot bikini.
Despite expected fallout over her provocative pics, Miley's recently released album "Breakout" shot straight to the number one spot in the charts.
This is the third straight album of Miley's to debut in the top spot, with "Breakout" making for her biggest sales debut, scanning over 372,000 units.

I've seen all of these pics before, on a MYSPACE PAGE CREATED BY A FAN WHO SIMPLY LOOKS A LOT LIKE MILEY... if you would even take the time to consider the fact that: 1 none of these pics actually show her FULL FACE, and 2 none of Miley's actual "people" have come out with responses to these photos, then you should finally come to the realization like smart people should (I'm trying to include you, but if you count yourself out that's your own fault) that THESE PICS ARE A CHEAP ATTEMPT TO MAKE MILEY CYRUS LOOK BAD... they were originally posted by the girl in the photos, on a Miley Fan-type page, but they were taken from there and have been popping up all over the place... and the fact that all of YOU PEOPLE keep thinking that "Miley is ruining her life with pics like these" simply shows that you all have so little faith in who she is... and ALL OF YOU expect her to go down into the gutter so quickly, that it's blinded you to the idea that it's NOT HER, and you'll jump at a chance to believe ANYTHING BAD ABOUT HER...

I'm not a fan of Miley but I'm not totally against her either. I don't care what she does and how she presents herself. Her posing in a bikini is nothing new. We see women in bikinis on the beach all the time and ads for bras on tv, billboards and magazines. The only reason people call these photos racy is because small girls ages of like 5 and above are very much influenced by the stars they look up to. A parent doesn't want their 5 or 10 year old daughter to imitate a teenage disney star that dresses sexy or poses half nude. You know what I mean. Miley is old enough to go through this phase and have pictures like these but its inappropriate for the young fans that look up to her and its miley's responsibility to keep it clean for the young girls since she took on this role.

There is nothing wrong with this. As said before, teenagers do this and so do adults. If you don't know this, you must be in a closet with your head under a blanket. But then again, so many parents are clueless about their own kids or more like teenagers in general. This is one thing that hasn't changed over the years.
As for the Christian comment, how is what she has done un-Christian? When did modern day American born again Christians redefine this? Nudity is natural, check out the art at the Vatican which has a longer Christian heritage than modern day born again Christians. She isn't even nude. She has clothes on and posing. Magazine adds are racer than this.
In addition, who is she really hurting? I know some will say she is a role model for others. My question is shouldn't the role model be their parents? When did we put so much emphasis on having strangers server as role models? No person is perfect, they are just people with good and bad. And for the Cristian side of it, live and let live and turn the other cheek. Some of the comments here are more to fanatics than average Christians.
As for this day and age kids are growing up so fast, I ask, faster than what? The American 50's when everyone was repressed? Adults now try and keep kids from growing up until they are gray and ready to retire. WE "protect" them from everything, never allowing them to grow. A century ago Miley would be married and having kids of her own. Or at least drawing close to marriage. Seems to me this is growing up much faster than today when the average age of marriage is the mid 20's. In addition the level of responsibility for teens in the past was greater. Today, they are babied well past college in many instances.
The comments about her as a "little" kid are baseless and do a disservice to teenagers every where. I guess it is easier to classify them all as "little kids" so we don't listen to them. Easier to ignore that which you pigeonhole as deficient.
And finally, paedophile? Since when has this discussion of Miley revolved around a PRE-pubescent girl? Paedophilia is a disorder recognized by psychologists. Miley is a pubescent teenager and falls outside of this definition. BTW, she probably took most if not all of these photos herself. So are you saying by your wrong definition that Miley is now a paedophile?

We're desensitized...but are these even real?
First off, I disagree with a lot of posters, not all teen girls are doing this. The insecure ones feel the need to show off their bodies (even when there's nothing spectacular about them) and make pouty/soft porn/"sexy" expressions while straining to make their stomaches smaller than they really are and their lips bigger than they really are.
Those kind of girls need attention. We all have hormones, um, news flash, teenagers aren't the only ones with hormones and "sexuality", so are adults, even more so. But most of us don't go around taking dumb angled shots of ourselves trying to look "sexy". Those girls don't realize, that is not sexy, nor will it ever be. You see it a lot with girls and their myspace pages where they have to make a point of naming themselves "sexy kate" like somehow underwear shots and the title "sexy" will make them cute, cool, and "hot". It doesn't. It's the ones that take those photos and nicknames that AREN'T even close to being sexy. They're too young to get this though.
They are young and unwise and will one day figure that out, most at least, but not all. Not until they feel deflated, used, and foolish.
My girls are almost 16 and almost 15. They take silly pictures with their friends, but they'd never take racy shots. They don't need to. In fact, my girls laugh and make fun of the other girls that put up their arm to take a shot of their fake pouty lip expressions while squishing their chest together to make their cleaveage look bigger.
It may be sad they need attention like that, but it's sort of hilarious too. Like, who do they think they're fooling? If some clown says, "oh, you're so hot and sexy", that somehow makes them feel great, even though he'd say that to anyone most likely. I can't even get my 16 y.o to feel comfortable wearing her suit out in front of everyone w/out a cover up. Her little sister (almsot 15) wears a cover all on her bottoms when not in the pool. She's chesty too and make a point to keep her chest covered. They're not embarrassed of their bodies, they just don't like feeling too exposed nor having ppl scruntinize their physique while they try to enjoy themselves at the beach.
My girls have their own insecurities like the rest of us, but I guess they know they're smart, loved, strong, and worth while. They don't need to pretend to be porn stars or webcam divas to feel cool, attractive, or like the're "somebody". They're already know it and they respect themselves. My girls mess up, but for the most part, it's very minor. They don't like feeling foolish, stupid, or used, so they've really avoided a lot of the pit falls that so many young girls feel they need to fall in to for whatever reason. Btw, I didn't feel the need to act like that either. If I wouldn't feel comfortable having all my friends and family seeing a photo of me, then it shouldn't be taken.
My girls want to be young, have fun, have little worries, be silly, be a kid---they try their best not to grow up too fast. They still watch their Disney flicks now and then, do silly fun things and act like the young girls they are.
This is ISN'T the norm with teen girls, this is the norm for teen girls with issues and insecurities. That's the difference.
With that said, I'm not sure all of these are even real. Am I the only one who notices on the bikini shot that it looks like there's sperm or something white and gooey on her stomach? Look closely.
Also, don't put her on a pedastal people. Yes, it seems like if these photos are true, she's going against an important belief in Christianity (purity, modesty, and self respect and respect for others, and for our brothers who struggle to maintain their purity in a world where sex is not sacred, and even young girls are sexualized.) We're forgiven, not perfect.
Perhaps if these are real, this girl needs some counseling and to have her camera taken away, otherwise, she's going to get tired of apologizing for her public foolishness.
One thing I do see though, is that since so many see nothing wrong with a young girl taking these kind of photos of themselves, it just shows all successful the world and the media has been at desensitizing us to the over sexualization of our youth. These types of photos don't just happen because a teenagers has hormones and new boobies, it starts much younger, just look at little girls and how they're starting to act and dress. It's hard for little kids to be little kids anymore and for teen girls to grow up with all of their self respect in tact, if they ever had any to begin with.

im a 16 y.o boy and im not gonna ever gonna claim i know a girls mind, but you are mistaken. Almost every girl in my grade has taken pics at an obviously posed angle, they think its fun and it makes them look hot, and it does. As for the fact of your own children, thats probably how you raised them, or they aren't very rebellious. Seriously, do you honestly believe your (gonna put this in the most sarcastic way possible) TEENAGE GIRLS are going to tell and show you everything (again) TEENAGE GIRLS that time of your life you look back on and laugh at how stupid you were. Now that I've put that in perspective. A teenager becomes rebellious because everything we do is what we are told to, our parents either plan out our lives and then force it on us, dont care so we act out so they notice us, or become so involved in our lives its smothering. How is a teen supposed to discover the world and grow up (at least in this modern world, look at the 1930's "Riding the Rails) when we are never allowed to make our own decisions. Sometimes those decisions are blocked by us from not having enough money, parents, or just being young. so we do what we can with what we got.
Think about it, a normal kid has restrictions. A teen actor with their reputation in the spotlight has RESTRICTIONS!!! Its natural for Miley to want to do something bordering the line, touching it maybe and i would guess then she goes back to her chosen path.
Also im sick of how everyone sees her as a role model. Think back years ago when you were a teenager, do you really want your little kid to imitate a teenager, much less a strange you dont really know them teenager. Shouldn't she have learned from the first bad decision she made??? It would be nice to see her make better/wiser decisions instead of living in the moment. I am the parent of a teen girl (17) and I KNOW these pictures are racy. My daughter has never shown her body off like this. And Miley shouldn't either, if she is a follower of Christ, like she claims.

3. She never intended them to be released to the public

What's all the fuss about whether or not she is a good Christian? I am sure that you are really perfect and have never done anything that is unchristian like!! These pictures prove one thing and one thing only, that Miley is a teenager. I have seen the same type of pictures in my 16 year old nieces' phone. Give her a break! The people who really need to be held accountable in all this are her parents. Just because you are famous doesn't mean that you cease to be a kid. I think parents of famous children take a step back because of all of the fame, but parents need to be extra vigilant with their famous children. I hear ya and I agree with you 100%. I myself have raised teenagers and have another pre-teen on the way. I see nothing unusual about these photos. She is covered than most teens seen on a beach. Not only on the beach, but she is covered more that many teens leaving the house to meet up with their friends. Miley is a teen having good, innocent fun and there is nothing wrong with her pics. People who complain about these photos are probably jealous that they don't have the lifestyle that she has. I adore Miley and so does my daughter. My question is: How are these pics getting out when it looks to be that SHE, HERSELF is taking the photographs. This girl has some issues that need to be addressed by her parents (where are they?) otherwise, it will only get worse. Miley seems like such a sweet person - she is acting just like any other 15 year old girl (I personally think she is actually VERY restrained). I don't know a single young female teen that hasn't taken suggestive pictures of themselves, just for themselves or with friends, for their own personal reasons. I also don't think there is anything wrong or risque/suggestive about these pics. The 2nd one is a litte bit over the top due to the low panty-line, but it's no worse than strutting around in a bikini in Summer time.
It's also my humble opinion that negative over-the-top comments like this are a contributing factor towards the out of control behaviour that many of these young stars later fall victim to.
It is possible that Miley probably never intended these pictures to get out. As I'm sure many of you viewers who have private photo's stored in a drawer or on a computer directory never expect those to get out to all your friends & colleages either!
And to those who talk about her role-model status to young girls - a note to parents: What on Earth are your YOUNG children doing reading adult-geared magazines, or surfing the internet unattended. If they are old enough to be doing these things, they are old enough to see these pictures, and I can assure you that most of these kids have learned a lot more in school from peers than they are likely to learn online anyway.
