Stepping out for some media duties, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino stopped by “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night (September 26).

The “Jersey Shore” stud stared things off by flirting with fellow guest Kirstie Alley, declaring, “Tell daddy what baby wants!”

As for his new on-screen persona, Mike noted, “It’s the same Mike but a Mike that has matured over the past couple of years and someone who is trying to make the best decisions and be the best person they can be on a daily basis.”

When Jay asked him where he was when he finally decided he needed help with his painkiller addiction, Mike confessed, “Australia. I was doing some appearances out in Australia. My schedule was pretty crazy. You go from city to city every other day. And I remember one day I was just so tired, extremely tired. All I had to do was get up, put my clothes on, and go to this particular venue.”

“I was so tired I didn’t have the motivation to get up, I was exhausted from work, and I even had the people who travel with me- they had the belt laid out, they had the shoes, and all I had to do was pretty much just throw it on. And I was like, ‘If I’m having a tough time at this particular point, I have to shoot ‘Jersey Shore’ in six to eight months… If this goes any further my family and my friends- it can get even worse.’”
