Mick Jagger: Great-Grandfather To-Be!
He has been called “Frontman,” “Your Majesty,” and “Brenda.” And now Mick Jagger can look forward to a brand new title: “Great Grandfather!”
At age 70, the Rolling Stones lead singer, although excited for his granddaughter Assisi's pregnancy, is most likely NOT going to be slowing down any time soon, as the band goes on tour in Australia in 2014.
"I think making Mick a grandfather obviously had a big impact whereas, now, making him a great-grandfather is no longer particularly fascinating," Jade Jagger said. "My dad has always been great at keeping the family together and having those important moments – Christmas parties, his birthday. We'll be spending New Year's Eve together, nearly all of us [in Mustique]."
Of Mick, Assisi told Hello! Magazine, "He said, 'Well done'...I imagine it's nice to be a great-granddad, although I'm not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called one. I call him Mick – I wouldn't start calling him grandpa."
