Michelle Williams Earns High Marks in “Cabaret” Broadway Debut
Given her television and movie success, it’s not exactly shocking that Michelle Williams has some serious stage chops as well.
The “Dawson’s Creek” darling made her Broadway debut on Sunday (March 23) as Sally Bowles in the much-anticipated revival of “Cabaret.”
Also starring Alan Cumming, “Cabaret” is directed by Sam Mendes and is slated for an April 24th opening night.
Liza Minnelli, who played Bowles in the 1972 film, previously told press of her excitement over Williams scoring the role.
“Michelle is a wonderful actress and I love Alan Cumming. I'm excited to see what they will do with the show and am sure it will be great!"
