Celebrating the four-year anniversary of her Let's Move! campaign, First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by Ryan Seacrest's radio show on KIIS FM on Thursday (January 30).

During the interview, the 50-year-old FLOTUS spoke about the anti-obesity campaign, encouraged young people to take advantage of the Affordable Care Act, and opened up about family life in the White House.

Asked about what it's like at home when the President has a tough day, she explains, "We try to just focus on family. This is what we do during good times and bad. We make sure our home is a safe space for family, so that when Barack comes off the elevator and walks through the door, he's just Dad. And the girls are really good at that because they're more concerned about their issues. Like, 'Oh, Dad, tough luck! By the way, where’s my allowance?'”

As for what it's like to grow up with such a high-profile father, Mrs. Obama shares, "Barack and I strive to make sure Malia and Sasha can lead as normal a life as possible and even though we are in this crazy bubble, they do things that normal kids do. They go to sleepovers, they go to concerts, they go to dances.” However, she did note that the 12 and 15 year old do not date yet and that she and the President "haven’t really talked about it, we will cross that bridge."

Finally, Ryan asked the all-too-important question of whether the First Lady watched the political drama, "Scandal," to which she replied, "I hadn’t watched it until this past vacation and we went to Hawaii… so [we] had a long flight [and] I watched all the seasons ... I love Kerry Washington. She is amazing, so it makes the show fun."
