Michelle Obama: Book-Signing First Lady

Staying in touch with her loyal constituents, First Lady Michelle Obama was spotted signing copies of her new book today (June 12) in Washington DC.

Mrs. Obama looked lovely as she autographed “American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America” at her local Barnes & Noble bookstore as part of her husband President Barack Obama’s re-election efforts.

During her chat with the press, the First Lady noted that while it doesn’t happen very often, both or her daughters gave their approval of her latest book.

Sasha (11) and Malia (13) are said to be fond of the beautiful pictures and have both read the book from cover to cover.
