Michael Phelps Brings His Foundation to Brazil
Sharing his passion for swimming, Michael Phelps visited a pool in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Monday (March 11).
Sporting his usual athletic attire, the Olympic gold medalist met with children from the area to swim and spend the afternoon.
As part of the Michael Phelps Foundation, the program was brought to Brazil to encourage healthy and active lifestyles in children through swimming.
Established in 1998, the charity regularly partners with the Boys & Girls Clubs and the Special Olympics and helps provide grants for children in need.
