Michael Jackson Tribute: A Memorial to Remember
Continuing along with an outpouring of support, family and friends joined alongside fans in honoring Michael Jackson's life during a tribute in Los Angeles on Tuesday (July 7).
With musicians including John Mayer, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder, Usher and Mariah Carey all taking the stage - the most heartwrenching moment came as Michael's daughter, Paris, spoke to the Staples Center crowd.
Joined by siblings Prince Michael and Prince Michael II, Jackson's daughter gave an impromptu speech following a group rendition of “Heal the World.”
Fighting tears, she told the crowd, “I just want to say ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you can ever imagine. And I just want to say I love him so much.”
Getting a big hug from her aunt, Janet Jackson, the family then left the stage - ending the public tribute which lasted just over two hours.
