Mel Gibson’s Baby Daughter: Budding Singer
They’re basking in the bliss of parenthood, and Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva may have a future professional singer on their hands in baby Lucia.
During a recent interview with FOX PopTarts, Ms. Grigorieva revealed, “My little daughter…could fuel the subject of a thousand songs! The miracle of life alone. She is a song! I constantly sing to her and she sings back.”
And though she has already had one child, Oksana confessed that it’s still a difficult transition into caring for a newborn again.
“Logistically, life becomes 'life squared.’ The preplanning and the multitasking is something I have to get in step with again.”
While talking with Tarts, Oksana also explained that she has much more to accomplish as an artist, thanks to the advice of Mel. “[He told me] if you feel you have something special to contribute through your art, then don't wait for someone to offer you the opportunity to express it. Roll up your sleeves and make it happen yourself. Never take yourself too seriously, and prepare to be judged. And whether you are criticized or praised, it's important to maintain your equilibrium.”
