Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves: "Dallas Buyer's Club" Premiere Pair
Taking some of his latest work internationally, Matthew McConaughey was on hand for the Rome premiere of his Oscar-buzzed about film "Dallas Buyer's Club" on Monday (January 27).
The 44-year-old actor looked handsome in a patterned Dolce & Gabbana suit while being joined by his lovely wife Camila Alves, who wowed in an orange frock.
Speaking about the film, Matthew recently told the L.A. Times, “They gave me what was my secret weapon, which was [Ron Woodroof]‘s diary. Which was the diary before he had HIV, and that’s where I understood who the man was before this disease came on — which ironically gave him the first purpose and clear identity of something to fight for in his life."
“He wanted to get out. I don’t know where he wanted to go, but he was lost and wandering and was pretty lonely. And the ironic, sad thing is that this disease is actually what gave him something clear to fight and claw for 24-7,” he added.
If you haven't seen the flick it's a must-see judging by the Oscar nominations, which include Best Picture, Best Actor (McConaughey), Best Film Editing and Best Original Screenplay.
