Mariska Hargitay Talks Adoption on the “Today” Show

During the course of her interview, Mariska gushed about her recent adoptions and life as a mother. “My life is really good. It’s just so full of joy. The babies have come. And it feels like nothing short of a miracle. And I feel very blessed to have them.”

“I adopted my daughter Amaya, and Andrew sort of, like a miracle, came out of the sky, and it was sort of a shock for us and it was so beautiful... I love talking about adoption because I think it’s the greatest thing on the planet. Anytime you embrace life so fully, so whole-heartedly there are highs and lows. The process takes you on a ride. And the end of it is better than any pot of gold you imagined as a child.”
