Mariska Hargitay Suffers from Collapsed Lung
Plagued with medical woes, it has been announced that Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU stardom is suffering from a collapsed lung.
"Mariska Hargitay has been sidelined with a pneumothorax (a partially collapsed lung),” the Detective Olivia Benson actress' rep told Access Hollywood.
And though she's battling the serious medical condition, the 44-year-old "will appear in all episodes for the rest of the season of Law & Order: SVU," her rep tells.
Hargitay received a Golden Globe nomination for her role on SVU, but ended up losing out to Anna Paquin. Mariska did not attend the ceremony.
