Taking some time away from her busy life, Mariah Carey was spotted hanging out at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil yesterday (October 25).

The “Touch My Body” babe encountered a mass of fans and paparazzi as she exited the resort, sporting a form-fitting grey minidress with sunglasses.

In related news, Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon recently told press that they both have to compete for closet space as they’re both clotheshorses.

“Don’t believe her when she says I have more gear than she does. She definitely has the bigger closet. She’s got more stuff. I have to keep all my stuff in a corner and compartmentalized while she gets her glamour on.”

Mariah added, “Each of us has their own areas that we decorated. The closet is where we have our little battles . . . He has a whole wall full of sneakers, while I have multiple walls of high heel shoes. And yet his sneakers look better than my shoes. I’m like ‘How is this happening?’ I had a stylist come do this and he did it himself. I guess he just knows what he is doing.”
