They’re always up for a publicity opportunity, and yesterday (November 9) Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were spotted paying a visit to “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

The “Touch My Body” songstress and her handsome husband were all smiles as they posed for the paparazzi outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre before heading inside.

In related news, Carey has signed on to perform at a New Year’s Eve concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

According to a report, Mariah will be joining a star-studded lineup to help welcome in the year 2010. Tickets go on sale to the public on November 14th.
