It’s no secret that the East Coast is gearing up for some tough weather courtesy of Hurricane Sandy, and some of our favorite famous folks have shared their reactions to what’s to come.

In typical snarky fashion, Alec Baldwin tweeted, “Sandy… that b**ch!” while Jimmy Kimmel joked, “Starting to get windy here in #Brooklyn… I hope our shows don’t fly away.”

Showing her empathy for all involved, Kim Kardashian posted, “Back in Miami now. Missed the storm. I’m praying for everyone on the East Coast. I hope everyone is safe!”

English comedian Ricky Gervais took a dig at Kim and her family, tweeting, “This ‘Sandy’ who’s on TV all the time and is blowing the entire east coast, I assume she’s a Kardashian right?”

Meanwhile Lindsay Lohan extolled the virtues of positive thinking- “WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace.”

And “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson quipped, “Come here Sandy, Come here girl! -Little Orphan Annie & some guy on the east coast who really needs a day off tomorrow.”

Snooki also chimed in, tweeting, "Lorenzo’s first storm! Holding him tight," while the lovely Sophia Bush shared, "I hope everyone on the East Coast stays safe during Sandy this week. Y’all are in my thoughts. xoxo"
