Angelina Jolie: “Maleficent” Sequel in the Works!

Last year Disney’s “Maleficent” was one of the hottest films to hit theaters, and it sounds like there’s a second installment on the way.

According to Deadline, Angelina Jolie is working out the details to reprise her role as the Mistress of All Evil while original screenwriter Linda Woolverton and producer Joe Roth are also attached to the project.

Taking the box office by storm, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" cruised to number one on the big screen for the weekend of June 27-29, 2014.

The latest installment in the franchise, which stars Mark Wahlberg, nabbed $41.3 million in sales on Friday and will end the weekend with $103 million plus in receipts, making the movie the biggest summer opening yet.

Joined by Aya Ueto, the “Good Shepherd” star and the “We Bought a Zoo” cutie posed for photos at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo while fielding questions from the crowd.

Showing some love to their Japanese fans, Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning showed up at the Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo for the big premiere of “Maleficent” on Monday (June 23).

The “Alexander” stunner looked gorgeous in a beautiful black dress while the “Super 8” cutie wore a wispy off-white peasant gown as she posed for photos.

After a tight race to number one, "Think Like a Man Too" edged out "22 Jump Street" for top honors at the box office for the weekend of June 20-22, 2014.

The latest misadventures of a group of pals vacationing in Las Vegas nabbed $12.2 million on Friday, and will close out its opening weekend with and estimated $33 million.

During an appearance on BBC’s Radio’s Woman’s Hour on Wednesday (June 11), the “Salt” beauty revealed that the violent scene was used to symbolize rape.
