Maksim Chmerkovskiy Finds His Way Home to "Dancing with the Stars"
Hitting the ABC network with a little good news, dance legend Maksim Chmerkovskiy is set to return to the iconic "Dancing with the Stars" series for season 18!
Heading back to the dance floor after a 2-year hiatus, the 34-year-old will once more act as a dancing pro alongside a celebrity match, for his 15th season on the show.
When departing from the hit show, Maksim told the New York Post, "Essentially, 80 percent of our job is to give somebody another push in their career. I loved doing it. But to be honest with you, at 32, I am at what-about-me time."
The Ukranian-born hunk has most definitely not been idle since leaving "Dancing with the Stars," as he took his break to work on an acting career, filming two movies and appearing on popular soap opera, "General Hospital" for a three-episode run.
Photographed leaving a meeting with series executives on February 26th, Makism's contract details are unknown as of yet, but his return may bring some stability to the show after its recent upheavals involving the firing of several key figures due to downsizing.
