“Mad Men” Launches Emmy Campaign with 1960s-Inspired Advertisements

Given that the entire show centers on a Madison Avenue ad agency, “Mad Men” has put together a compelling campaign to urge the Emmy Awards to shower them with trophies later this year.

Jon Hamm, January Jones, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Kiernan Shipka and Elisabeth Moss are among the show’s regulars featured in the vintage-looking spread ahead of the 2014 Emmy Awards on August 25th.

Portraying the notorious Don Draper, Hamm poses in a classic luxury car along with the tagline, “Behind every pair of our glasses is a man with winning character… and much more.”

Meanwhile, Miss Shipka looks adorable in a floral dress with patterned stockings. Her ad reads, “She’s grown up right before your eyes. Show her you noticed.”

And January’s spot finds her looking through a display window at some gorgeous jewels. It states, “She loves pearls but prefers gold.”
