MTV Announces 2013 Movie Award Nominees

Gearing up for next month's ceremony, MTV announced the nominations for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Tuesday (March 5).

Awards host Rebel Wilson and MTV News' Josh Horowitz started off the nomination spectacular by announcing the most coveted Golden Popcorn award for Movie of the Year.

“Skyfall” Scores Six Empire Nominations

Given that it’s the biggest James Bond 007 film of all time, it’s only fitting that “Skyfall” has been nominated for six trophies at the upcoming Empire Awards.

The British spy flick will compete for Best Film, while stars Daniel Craig and Judi Dench are up for Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. Additionally, Sam Mendes snagged a nod for Best Director.

Amanda Seyfried & Eddie Redmayne: “Les Miserables” Pre-Oscar Party Fun

Looking to beat the midweek slump, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne showed up at the Vanity Fair/Chrysler Pre-Oscar party for “Les Miserables” last night (February 20).

Stepping out to support their movie musical, Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman attended a photocall for the Berlin Special section of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival on Saturday (February 9).

The 30-year-old brunette beauty wore a sleeveless navy and black gown with black tights while her handsome Aussie costar wore a classic dark suit with skinny black tie.

Anne Hathaway Premieres "Les Misérables" in Paris

Making yet another round to promote her movie, "Les Misérables," Anne Hathaway attended the Paris Premiere as part of Avenue Du Cinema Festival at Cinema Gaumont Marignan in France on Wednesday (February 6).

The Academy Award nominee looked glamorous in a strapless pink gown with black beading on top as she posed with cast and crew on the red carpet.

The Oscars Announce Musical Tribute

It’s no secret that the musical film genre has experienced a resurgence in recent years, and the Oscars will include a tribute to a few notable flicks at the big February 24th ceremony.
