She’s no stranger to high-profile industry events, and last night (July 10) Leighton Meester was spotted at a special screening of “500 Days of Summer.”

The “Gossip Girl” gal was all smiles as she arrived at the shindig, sporting a hounds tooth pattern red and purple dress with black leather ankle boots.

Earlier in the day, Miss Meester was busy filming scenes for the upcoming third season of her uber-popular CW series.

Leighton worked opposite costar Ed Westwick, who was looking plenty hunky in a double-breasted navy blue suit, exuding his usual charm and appeal.
