"The Lego Movie" Builds Box Office Domination

Once again enjoying big success, "The Lego Movie" took home a win at the box office for the third straight weekend (February 21-23).

Voiced by stars such as Will Arnett and Elizabeth Banks, the animated adventure comedy took in $8 million on Friday and wound up with a three day total of $31.4 million.

Landing in the second spot is newcomer "3 Days to Kill." The Kevin Costner action drama garnered a $4 million Friday and finished its opening weekend with $12.1 million.

Rounding out the top five in earmarked earnings are the new action drama "Pompeii" ($10.3 million) in third, "RoboCop" ($9.6 million) in fourth, and George Clooney's "The Monuments Men" ($7.9 million) in fifth.
