“300: Rise of an Empire” Tops Weekend Box Office

Everybody loves a good ancient war epic, and “300: Rise of an Empire” nabbed the highest number of tickets sold with $45 million in earnings.

Warner Bros honcho Jeff Goldstein told press, "This far exceeded our expectations. We were thinking, if we can get to $100 million (total box office), we'd be in a good place. Clearly we captured a much broader audience than we anticipated.”



Box Office: "Non-Stop" Knocks "The Lego Movie" Out of Top Spot

After three weeks of the same movie on top, "Non-Stop" is on track to beat out its box office competitors to take top honors for the weekend of February 28-March 1, 2014.

The thriller, which stars Liam Neeson opened on Friday with a take of $10 million, and is expected to hit a 3-day total of $29 million.

Once again enjoying big success, "The Lego Movie" took home a win at the box office for the third straight weekend (February 21-23).

Voiced by stars such as Will Arnett and Elizabeth Banks, the animated adventure comedy took in $8 million on Friday and wound up with a three day total of $31.4 million.


"The Lego Movie" is Already Set for a Sequel in May 2017!

Just as "The Lego Movie" continues to rake in the revenue at the box office, Warner Brothers Pictures has already set an official release date for the the family flick's untitled sequel!

Hitting theaters on May 26, 2017, very few details have been given about the sequel, but reports do state that Jared Stern and Michelle Morgan will write the screenplay.

"The LEGO Movie" Surpasses $200 Million at the Box Office

Continuing to soar, "The Lego Movie" surpassed $200 million at the global box office on Tuesday (February 19).

Less than two weeks since the opening, the family flick has grossed $146 million in North America and $60.4 million internationally.

The “Community” cutie started off discussing the new hit flick, but ended up talking about an embarrassing past role in which she’s possessed by a demon fetus that ends up dismembering her on-screen lover.

Katie Price Catches "The Lego Movie" in London

Toning down her look just a tad for a family friendly flick, Katie Price arrived at "The Lego Movie" VIP screening in London on Sunday (February 9).

The 35-year-old model jazzed up her black top and short black skirt with a furry jacket and matching fur hat along with thigh-high black boots.
