Stephen Colbert Set to Stop By "The Late Show" This Month
The "Colbert Report" host isn't taking over until next year and this will give Dave's audience a taste of what's to come.
After over thirty years of Letterman, CBS hopes the switch will improve 18-49 age range ratings as well as earn more female viewers.
Speaking about his successor, David stated, "Stephen has always been a real friend to me. I've very excited for him, and I'm flattered that CBS chose him, and I'm flattered that CBS chose him. I also happen to know they wanted another guy with glasses."
