Lana Del Rey Premieres “Tropico” in Los Angeles, Announces New Album
Giving her fans a little humpday bonus, Lana Del Rey showed up at the ArcLight Theatre in Los Angeles to premiere her new short film “Tropico.”
The “Video Games” gal was literally mobbed by folks who gathered to greet her, though the big smile on her face seemed to indicate her approval of the scene.
Del Rey’s “Tropico” features songs like “Body Electric” and “Gods and Monsters,” and is described as a “tale of redemption,” though there’s plenty of sex and guns involved.
Taking to her Twitter account, Lana shared that “Tropico” is the closing of her Born to Die era- “Looking forward to seeing you for the farewell project. I adore you and thank you for inspiring me.”
In additon, Lana announced her new album and said, “I really just wanted us all to be together so I could visually close out my chapter before I release the new record, Ultraviolence."
