Stepping out for some promotional duties, Lady Gaga headed to Z100 radio station in New York City on Monday (March 24).

The "Applause" hitmaker donned a white dress with a yellow purse and matching sunglasses as she made her way through the shutterbugs and fans waiting for her outside the station.

Last Friday (March 21), Demi Lovato took to her Twitter to slam Gaga for glamorizing eating disorders during her infamous performance at SXSW in Austin, TX.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the Mother Monster allowed a performance artist to swallow paint and then throw it back up all over the stage while she sang one of her hit tunes.

Unable to hide her disappointment towards the 27-year-old singer, Demi noted the show was "sad" and tweeted, "As if we didn't have enough people glamorizing eat disorders already. Bottom line, it's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all."

Ready to address Miss Lovato's criticism openly, Lady Gaga told E! News, "I have struggled with an eating disorder for over 10 years, and I take that very seriously. I take the struggle of others very seriously. I am very supportive of Demi's struggles and her recovery, as well as the recovery of anyone who is suffering from that."

"But this performance had absolutely nothing to do with any eating disorders, and we never intended for it to be taken that way," she added.
