Kristin Davis Disses “Sex and the City” Prequel
It’s no secret that “Sex and the City 2” didn’t do so hot, and Kristin Davis has made it known that she thinks a third film is a mistake.
During her interview with E!, Ms. Davis shared that she’s against the whole idea on several different levels.
She explained, "Not so into the prequel movie. Because we're us and we've discussed our history in the show already so for all of our fervent fans who listen to what we say, why would we rewrite that? And then have like different people with our names? It's kind of freaky."
Kristin’s costar Sarah Jessica Parker agrees. "I don't think we can pretend to go back. It's creating two histories. I think there's one more story to tell. I know there is."
Davis added, "I'm always hopeful, and I always believe there's another story to tell because these are these women's lives, so why wouldn't there be another chapter. [But] I don't know if it will happen."
