As famous faces like Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner continue to speak out against paparazzi’s targeting of celebrity children, Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell announced their support for the cause on Monday (January 27).

Irritated by the lack of privacy for his daughter Lincoln, Dax took to his Twitter account and asked his devoted fans and followers to boycott magazines that pay for the photos of celebrity children.

“Please boycott magazines that run pics of ‘celebrity children.’ They should be punished for who their parents are,” Mr. Shepard tweeted. “Children shouldn’t be stalked. #boycottusweekly #boycottstar #boycottpeople #boycottintouch #boycottboycottboycott.”

After one user pointed out that some celebrities like the shutterbug’s attention, the 39-year-old actor stated, “I can tell you me and my friends do everything in our power to prevent it.”

Also voicing her opinion about the situation, Kristin wrote, “I won’t do interview 4 entities and pay photogs to take pics of my baby anymore. I can more about my integrity & my values than my career.”

Miss Bell continued, “The ‘look at the celebs kid at the park!’ teaches us a disengaged voyeurism. think abt how being followed by photos all day effects THE KID.”

“Now think about how you play the MOST NECESSARY role in the sad chain of events-the consumer. Things won’t change till the consumer does,” she added.
