They’ve always been critical of the celebrity photography industry, and Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard went toe-to-toe with two representatives from the paparazzi realm.

During a debate on “Access Hollywood,” the “Veronica Mars” starlet and her “Without a Paddle” husband faced off against Steve Ginsburg and Christian Zimmerman from AKM/GSI and things got pretty heated.

Bell described a common scenario during which she gets surrounded by 10 photographers at night at LAX while carrying her daughter Lincoln, calling it “terrifying.”

Shepard chimed in, “If you don’t have an ethical issue with that, then I don’t think you have ethics.”

From the other side, Zimmerman called Kristen’s term “pedorazzi” (photographers who snap shots of celebrity kids without authorization) “hysterical.”

And Ginsburg tried to be fair to both sides, noting “Photographers need to be regulated,” though he wasn’t clear on how those rules would be determined and enforced.
