Kirsten Dunst Talks Depression with Flare
Donning a bright red and pink Giambattista Valli frock, the 29-year-old big screen star chatted with the Canadian publication about her battle with depression in 2008 as well as her new movie "Melancholia" - which is set for a September 30 release in the UK while hitting US theaters on November 11.

On her battle with depression:
“I think that most human beings go through some sort of depression in their life. And if they don’t, I think that’s weird.”
On the stigma associated with depression:
“People are embarrassed to talk about it - I would never put anyone down that was in that kind of space.”
On her performance in the movie "Melancholia":
“It was really hard for me to watch because I don’t recognize myself in parts of that film. It weirds me out a little bit. Like my voice change, this look in my eye. It scared me a little bit.”
