Kelly Clarkson Sings Etta James
The entertainment world felt a huge loss when Etta James passed away last week, and Kelly Clarkson paid tribute to the late R&B singer during her gig on Saturday night (January 21).
Clarkson took to the stage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and shared some sweet words about Etta, who died on Friday as a result of complications from pneumonia.
Then the “Mr. Know It All” songstress sang James’ classic song “I’d Rather Go Blind,” much to the delight of the sold-out crowd.
But that wasn’t the only cover Kelly nailed during her hit-laden set- she also sang “Fix You” by Coldplay, and “My Man” from “Funny Girl.”
