Ready to join up with his "New Moon" co-stars on the east coast, Kellan Lutz was spotted readying for a flight out of Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (November 18).

The Emmett Cullen actor took a moment to check out a friends tricked out VW CC in Santa Monica before heading to the Los Angeles International Airport.

In related news, Kellan opened up about an uncomfortable spa fan run-in while chatting with Ellen DeGeneres yesterday.

"I love doing the fan stuff," he said. "It's the best. You get to meet the fans, do the signings ... it's very surreal. We live in this 'Twilight Zone' bubble, in a way. It really hasn't set in. I try and get away. I don't change my life or anything like that, but I try and go away and treat myself, and I went to Burke Williams [male spa]."

Lutz continues, "I'm in a spa just by myself relaxing. ... This guy's walks by, and he was like, 'Hey,' " Lutz recalled. "I'm naked, very much. Bubbles blowing. And the guy is like, 'You're Kellan Lutz.' I'm like, 'Yeah.' He's like, 'Big fan, big fan. You do great work in "Twilight." Can't wait to see the new movie.' I'm like, 'Thanks, buddy.' [Trying to cover himself up.] He just continued to talk for 10 minutes. They aren't that deep of spas."
